Welcome to the brand-new, out-of-the-box VYLTP website. We know that it will serve the needs of young leaders in the Church and society. The website will not only keep everyone informed of the Volmoed Youth programme and its alumni, but also publish thoughtful articles on this blog to empower young leaders, help them grow in faith, hope and love, and lead to actions in that same spirit.
There is no doubt that young people have always led society. We see that now again in the actions for climate justice. May this grow! Through VYLTP we want to create the space for young leaders to be nurtured. The Church is one “site of struggle” where an insufficient grasp of the depth and the height and the width of the love of God can lead to exclusivity.
At VYLTP, we will grapple with this question in an authentic and honest way in the hope that it will answer two prayers: (1) Thy kin-dom come on earth as it is in heaven, and (b) Abba, may they be One!
